How to Balance Studying English and Ramadan!

Dear Spanglisherz,

I hope you are doing wonderfully!

I know this is a very late-night blog post, but I still wanted to write it and get in touch with you.

I understand that Ramadan can be tiring, and studying during this time is not always easy for many of us. However, I am here to share some advice on how to balance your English study plans and make the most of them.

  1. You probably spend a lot of time scrolling through social media, right? Instead of using social media all day, why not spend just 10 minutes scrolling through an English influencer’s page?
  2. I also assume you usually watch an hour or two of Ramadan series. How about watching Muslim vloggers sharing their Ramadan experiences in English instead? This way, you can enjoy learning about Ramadan traditions while practicing English at the same time. I will attach some example videos at the end of this blog.
  3. If you want to increase your worship and prayers during Ramadan, consider listening to international Muslims discuss their worship practices in English or reading tips on how to enhance your worship in English.
  4. Finally, why not join my Ramadan English challenges? In these challenges, I share a small daily task—either writing or speaking—that takes no more than five minutes to complete. P.S.: Those who participate the most will be eligible to win my Speak Smart English course!

Following this simple routine can improve your English in just five minutes a day! How and why? It works because you expose yourself to the language in small, manageable bits until you naturally immerse yourself in it without feeling overwhelmed or exhausted.

That’s all for now! I hope these pieces of advice are useful for you.

Please reply to this whether by email or through a comment and let me know if you’ll try any of these tips, and share any other methods you use to stay exposed to English.

With love, 🌟 Taz
