Dear Spanglisherz,
I hope your Friday is going well—or went well if the day is already over for you! 😛
I always get hundreds and hundreds of messages from learners saying how bad their English is, how difficult it is to see improvement, or how challenging it is to commit and study English the right way.
Let me reassure you: YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Thousands of learners feel exactly the way you do. Learning a language can sometimes be incredibly frustrating and even depressing—but please, DON’T GIVE UP.
I know, I know! You’re probably thinking, “I’ve heard this so many times, and it doesn’t work for me.” Well, think of it this way instead:
- You reached where you are now because of your hard work, so don’t underestimate yourself.
- Ten years from now, when you look back at yourself today, you’ll say, “Thank you for continuing. Now we can speak English, even if progress felt slow.”
- Take that first step today—practice your listening, speaking, or writing skills. Don’t delay it until tomorrow or the day after.
Remember, it’s the journey that matters, not just the destination.
That’s all! I hope this helps. Share with me if you feel the same way about your English journey and how you overcome these challenges.
Sending love and positivity,
Taz ✨
