Dear Readers,
I’m sure all of you are done with your holiday. Whether you are working or at school or at university, and so I thought it’s a good time to address the topic of burnout with you!
Burnout basically means to get to a state of being so exhausted and so tired that you hate everything you do in your life, basically like the state of drowning. According to Mr.Google burnout is “state of complete mental, physical, and emotional exhaustion. If you are experiencing burnout, you may notice it is difficult to engage in activities you normally find meaningful. You may no longer care about the things that are important to you or experience an increasing sense of hopelessness.”
I think all of us at some point in life experienced burnout, and I think it’s very important to acknowledge when it happens and how to stop ourselves before it happens.
Now why getting back from a holiday reminded me with this topic? cause I know a lot of you will be back to working and studying like crazy, and a lot of you will say “oh we had a holiday, so let’s just work work work now or study study study”, and so you end up approaching a burnout. Thus, I’m here to say : take it easy and relax and find yourself some time to take a breather and relax. And if you need some time management tips, let me know, and I’d be happy to talk about it ! Also, I can next time address burnout when it comes to language learning, and especially English !
Personally speaking, I have suffered from a burnout many times since my appearance on social media. Especially that I already have a full time job as a university lecturer. You can say I was literally gonna lose it all, If I couldn’t MANAGE MY TIME WELL!
Luckily, I managed my time, and I got out of this trap of burnout! if you like to hear more about my experience reply with ( more), and hopefully my next email will include my personal experience with some tricks and tips.
In the meantime, I would be very happy if you could share what you think about my new YouTube video:
Best oF Luck,
Tas x
